Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using WPControl ("Service"), operated by WPControl ("we", "us", "our") at wpcontrol.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
WPControl provides an API service that enables users to manage and control WordPress websites through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service includes API access, a web dashboard, and related tools for WordPress site management.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account using a supported authentication provider (Google or GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
The Service offers subscription plans (Free, Pro, and Agency) with varying features and usage limits. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Freemius.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard.
- Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the next billing period.
- All billing, invoicing, and tax compliance is handled by Freemius.
5. Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Refunds are processed through Freemius. After the 14-day period, no refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content.
- Exceed the usage limits of your subscription plan through automated means.
- Share, sell, or transfer your API keys to unauthorized third parties.
- Use the Service to compromise, damage, or disrupt WordPress sites you do not own or have authorization to manage.
7. API Keys and Access
API keys are provided for your use only. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API keys. You must keep your API keys confidential and must not share them publicly (e.g., in public code repositories). We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are compromised or misused.
8. WordPress Site Credentials
The Service requires WordPress Application Passwords to connect to your sites. You are responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization to manage the WordPress sites you connect. We store your site credentials securely and use them solely to execute API requests on your behalf.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or fail to pay for your subscription. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data may be deleted after a 30-day grace period.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
